Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health



Industrial activities from time to time and any other working place involve new methods, materials, machines and technologies. In most cases, these new machines or equipments are heavier, faster in operation and more complicated.

Safety as a discipline is avoiding harm, injury, accident, danger and fatality. Especially at work site or place. That is avoiding hazards. It entails responsibility and hence staying alive or taking care of one’s life and the life of others.  In viewed of this those who are safety conscious always make safety their life style, investment, seekers precious and as mark of excellence.

Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment is not only important human resources issue it is low. The employees need to understand health and safety risks, the steps they need to take to minimize those risk and compliance procedures.
